In this hands on workshop Sayakat Cosplay will demonstrate how to take your cosplay wigs to the next level. Learn how to create gravity-defying spikes perfect for anime or video game cosplays by following along in class on your own wig. Students will leave class with a wig-in-progress to finish at home.
In this workshop you'll learn:
- The basics of wig care and styling
- How to crimp wigs for bulk
- How to steam out a wig

Prerequisite Skills:
- Familiarity with wigs and basic styling techniques
- Knowledge of how to handle, care for, and trim wigs
About the Instructor:
Sayakat Cosplay is an award winning cosplayer and has been cosplaying since 2014. She has honed her skills through the years and enjoys utilizing her expertise and experience to help others learn and make their own cosplays. She is a cosplay generalist, doing pretty much everything; sewing, making armor and props, styling wigs, and generally nerding out over all aspects of cosplay! The Nitty Gritty:
- To participate in this class you must be at least 16 years of age
- Space is limited and all tickets are first come first serve
- Purchasing a ticket reserves one (1) seat at this class. For multiple tickets, please add more than one ticket to your cart
- All tickets are final sale. In the event of a no-show, no refunds will be available
- Tickets will be delivered digitally to the email address provided at checkout. This digital ticket will be needed to enter the event.
- All classes start promptly at the time they're scheduled for. In the event of tardiness, you may miss certain aspects of the class and may not be able to complete the scheduled project in full
