In this workshop Plexi Cosplay will provide attendees with a foam kit consisting of all the laser-cut pieces needed to create a Korok mask. Students will assemble the mask under Plexi Cosplay's guidance, then prime and paint their mask. We will go over tricks for different painting techniques including simple highlights and lowlights, texturing, and more.
In this lecture you'll learn:
- How to assemble foam props
- How to properly prime foam
- Techniques for painting foam including base coating, highlights, lowlights, and texture
Prerequisite Skills:
- Beginner friendly - no experience required
About the Instructor:
PlexiCosplay is an award-winning cosplayer from Maryland who specializes in engineering and high-end costume design. She has judged large cosplay circuits like C2E2 but spends much of her time collaborating with gaming companies to bring characters to life. She is also the manager of one of Maryland's largest makerspaces and teaches classes on digital design and fabrication outside of cosplay.

- To participate in this class you must be at least 16 years of age
- Space is limited and all tickets are first come first serve
- Purchasing a ticket reserves one (1) seat at this class. For multiple tickets, please add more than one ticket to your cart
- All tickets are final sale. In the event of a no-show, no refunds will be available
