In this workshop Aissac of Aissac_Cos will be demonstrating how to elevate your masculine cosplay with dramatic, striking makeup. Learn the ropes of transformative makeup by exploring contouring and highlights, tips and tricks for creating facial hair and freckles, and more. Aissac will be demonstrating techniques on themselves, and will also be utilizing volunteers from the audience for certain portions of the presentation.
In this workshop you'll learn:
- The foundations of cosplay makeup and how it differs from everyday makeup
- How to create realistic, natural freckles
- Transforming your face shape with masculine contouring
- Making costume facial hair look realistic
- Hacks for masculine eyebrow and lip makeup
Prerequisite Skills:
- Familiarity with makeup tools and basic supplies such as foundation, eyeliner, etc.
- Familiarity with applying basic makeup on yourself
About the Instructor:
Aissac is a cosplayer and costume maker with over 15 years of cosplay experience. They’re especially known for their wide variety of makeup looks and eye for detail, and they currently work in the costume industry in NYC.
The Nitty Gritty:
- To participate in this class you must be at least 16 years of age
- Space is limited and all tickets are first come first serve
- Purchasing a ticket reserves one (1) seat at this class. For multiple tickets, please add more than one ticket to your cart
- All tickets are final sale. In the event of a no-show, no refunds will be available
- Tickets will be delivered digitally to the email address provided at checkout. This digital ticket will be needed to enter the event.
- All classes start promptly at the time they're scheduled for. In the event of tardiness, you may miss certain aspects of the class and may not be able to complete the scheduled project in full
