In this lecture Sayakat Cosplay will walk students through the process of modifying an armor pattern or template. Students will learn how to make their own paper patterns for armor and props, in addition to Learn how to mold patterns to fit each student's unique body and how to modify existing patterns.
In this workshop you'll learn:
- The basics of armor patterns
- How to take in, let out, and sculpt armor patterns to ensure a correct fit
- How to draft your own armor pattern piece
- Techniques for making adjustments to pre-existing armor patterns
Prerequisite Skills:
- Beginner friendly - no experience required
About the Instructor:
Sayakat Cosplay is an award winning cosplayer and has been cosplaying since 2014. She has honed her skills through the years and enjoys utilizing her expertise and experience to help others learn and make their own cosplays. She is a cosplay generalist, doing pretty much everything; sewing, making armor and props, styling wigs, and generally nerding out over all aspects of cosplay! - To participate in this class you must be at least 16 years of age
- Space is limited and all tickets are first come first serve
- Purchasing a ticket reserves one (1) seat at this class. For multiple tickets, please add more than one ticket to your cart
