In this demo workshop Sayakat Cosplay will teach students everything needed to make EVA foam armor. Each student will learn how to modifying armor patterns, cut foam, glue pieces together, and detail their finished product all in one sitting. With these skills under your belt, students will leave with an understanding of how to make bracers, shoulder armor, and other small armor pieces.
In this workshop you'll learn:
- The basics of armor patterns and how to modify them
- The proper way to cut EVA foam
- How to glue EVA foam pieces together
- Techniques for detailing foam armor
Prerequisite Skills:
- Beginner friendly - no experience required
About the Instructor:
Sayakat Cosplay is an award winning cosplayer and has been cosplaying since 2014. She has honed her skills through the years and enjoys utilizing her expertise and experience to help others learn and make their own cosplays. She is a cosplay generalist, doing pretty much everything; sewing, making armor and props, styling wigs, and generally nerding out over all aspects of cosplay! The Nitty Gritty:
- To participate in this class you must be at least 16 years of age
- Space is limited and all tickets are first come first serve
- Purchasing a ticket reserves one (1) seat at this class. For multiple tickets, please add more than one ticket to your cart
- All tickets are final sale. In the event of a no-show, no refunds will be available
- Tickets will be delivered digitally to the email address provided at checkout. This digital ticket will be needed to enter the event.
- All classes start promptly at the time they're scheduled for. In the event of tardiness, you may miss certain aspects of the class and may not be able to complete the scheduled project in full
