Give a little leather scrap a new chapter! In this introductory leather tooling workshop, you’ll turn a small piece of leather into a custom bookmark, adding decorative details that make it uniquely yours.

Explore how pressure, placement, and repeated marks can transform a simple surface into a design with texture and personality. Your finished bookmark makes a thoughtful handmade gift or a little treasure to tuck into your current read.

In this workshop you'll learn:

• Recognize the basic tools and materials used for leather tooling.
• Plan a design that works within the shape of your leather scrap.
• Prepare your leather for tooling.
• Use tooling techniques to create impressions, texture, and decorative details.

Prerequisite Skills:

• None – beginner friendly.

About the Instructor:

Blue is a professional costumer from NYC that specializes in pattern making, draping, and garment construction. She's worked on shows for Broadway, such as Wicked, The Lion King, and more. You can find her on Instagram at Aobittybaby.

The Nitty Gritty:

• To participate in this workshop, a liability waiver must be completed for all participants
• Anyone under 16 years of age MUST be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian
• Space is limited and all tickets are first come first serve
• Purchasing a ticket reserves one (1) seat at this class. For multiple tickets, please add more than one ticket to your cart
• All tickets are final sale. In the event of a no-show, no refunds will be available
• Tickets will be delivered digitally to the email address provided at checkout. This digital ticket will be needed to enter the event.
