Learn how to create a stylish and versatile Japanese Knot bag in this fun, skill-building class! Students will sew a fully lined bag featuring the signature loop-through handle design that makes this project both functional and fashionable. During this class, you'll learn essential sewing techniques including cutting and preparing fabric, sewing curves, assembly, and achieving clean, professional finishes. By the end of class, you'll leave with a completed Japanese Knot Bag and the confidence to customize future bags.

About the Instructor:

With more than 40 years of sewing experience, Farin of Cut Up & Sew has worked with opera productions, ballets, and recreated historic garments for museums and historic homes. They're also a long time participant of Costumers with a Cause, which involves creating and repairing historical costumes as well as leading educational workshops.
