This beginner-friendly sewing workshop is all about building confidence through a fun, low-pressure project. You’ll be working on Bernette sewing machines to create an adorable bow-shaped keychain that doubles as a bag charm - perfect for adding a little personality to your everyday carry.

Along the way, we’ll walk you through the basics step-by-step: sewing a straight stitch, a bit of simple hand sewing, attaching hardware, and adding soft structure with polyester fiberfill. No stress, no perfection required — just a solid introduction to skills you’ll actually use again.

• How to close a seam using simple hand sewing
• How to attach hardware like clasps, keychain findings, and more
• How to use fiberfill to create fluffy depth in projects

About the Instructor:

Madison May, the head pattern maker at CUT/SEW, founded the company in 2016. With almost fifteen years of experience in the costume and fashion industry, Madison has provided patterns to both broadway & off-broadway productions, major US theme parks, international cruise lines, and television. Cosplay has been a hobby of hers since 2005 and she also is active in the cosplay photography community under the moniker of Final-Egirl.

• To participate in this workshop, a liability waiver must be completed for all participants
• Anyone under 16 years of age MUST be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian
• Space is limited and all tickets are first come first serve
• Purchasing a ticket reserves one (1) seat at this class. For multiple tickets, please add more than one ticket to your cart
• All tickets are final sale. In the event of a no-show, no refunds will be available
