In this cozy, beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn how to hand sew an adorable whale shark plushie from scratch — no sewing machine required! Whether you’ve never threaded a needle before or you're just looking for a relaxing project, this class will walk you through each step in a fun, no-pressure environment.

By the end of class, you’ll have a finished, one-of-a-kind plushie that’s perfect for gifting, collecting, or cuddling. Plus, you’ll go home with the skills and confidence to make more on your own!

In this workshop you'll learn:

• Tips for working with felt and soft fabrics
• Hand sewing basics: threading needles, running stitch, whip stitch, and ladder stitch
• How to stuff and shape your plushie for a cute, chibi-style finish
• How to attach simple accessories or facial features for extra personality

About the Instructor:

Aissac is a professional costumer from NYC that specializes in pattern making, beading, hand finishing, and garment construction. They’ve worked on shows for both film and Broadway, such as Wicked, The Lion King, Gilded Age, and the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic. • To participate in this workshop, a liability waiver must be completed for all participants
• Anyone under 16 years of age MUST be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian
• Space is limited and all tickets are first come first serve
• Purchasing a ticket reserves one (1) seat at this class. For multiple tickets, please add more than one ticket to your cart
