Ready to take your costume details to the next level? In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to add dimension and sparkle to your projects through beginner-friendly bead embroidery techniques — the same methods used to elevate trims, armor details, and fabric accessories in cosplay and costume design.

You’ll create a shimmering jellyfish patch using a mix of sequins, seed beads, and textured materials, while learning how to apply these embellishment skills to future projects like armor edges, props, and costume appliqués.

• How to securely hand-stitch beads, sequins, and embellishments
• How to use different bead shapes and textures to create visual interest
• Techniques for applying your finished piece to costumes or accessories

About the Instructor:

Aissac is a professional costumer from NYC that specializes in pattern making, beading, hand finishing, and garment construction. They’ve worked on shows for both film and Broadway, such as Wicked, The Lion King, Gilded Age, and the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic. • To participate in this workshop, a liability waiver must be completed for all participants
• Anyone under 16 years of age MUST be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian
• Space is limited and all tickets are first come first serve
• Purchasing a ticket reserves one (1) seat at this class. For multiple tickets, please add more than one ticket to your cart
• All tickets are final sale. In the event of a no-show, no refunds will be available
