Turn your hard-earned con ribbons into something truly worth showing off! In this crafty make-and-take session, you’ll transform a bundle of your favorite badge ribbons into a custom rosette, complete with a “#1 Ribbon Collector” pin back badge.
Using folding, pleating, and collaging techniques, you’ll layer your ribbons onto a felt and cardboard base, then decorate with extra ribbons, charms, and embellishments we’ll provide. By the end of class, you’ll have a one-of-a-kind keepsake you can pin to your con bag, display on your badge, or wear proudly throughout the weekend.
All supplies are included — just bring about a dozen of your collected con ribbons to upcycle, or use our provided ribbons.

About the Instructor:
Madison May, the head pattern maker at CUT/SEW, founded the company in 2016. With almost fifteen years of experience in the costume and fashion industry, Madison has provided patterns to both broadway & off-broadway productions, major US theme parks, international cruise lines, and television. Cosplay has been a hobby of hers since 2005 and she also is active in the cosplay photography community under the moniker of Final-Egirl.

The Nitty Gritty:
- To participate in this workshop, a liability waiver must be completed for all participants
- Anyone under 16 years of age MUST be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian
- Space is limited and all tickets are first come first serve
- Purchasing a ticket reserves one (1) seat at this class. For multiple tickets, please add more than one ticket to your cart
- All tickets are final sale. In the event of a no-show, no refunds will be available
- Tickets will be delivered digitally to the email address provided at checkout. This digital ticket will be needed to enter the event.
- All classes start promptly at the time they're scheduled for. In the event of tardiness, you may miss certain aspects of the class and may not be able to complete the scheduled project in full.
