Class Length: 1.5 hours

This beginner-friendly demo will cover the basics of tackling makeup for cosplay, including easy special effects techniques to make your character come to life. Our class will include explanations on different makeup products, demonstrations on a model of application techniques, and a Q&A segment to go over common questions with the class.

In this workshop you'll learn:

How to layer makeup properly
What tools and products you'll need for long-lasting wearing
Different makeup techniques for female and male characters
Using makeup to transform your age, gender, and more
Ways that cosplay makeup is different from everyday makeup

None, beginner friendly

About the Instructors:

Ai and Blue are professional stitchers from NY that specialize in pattern making, beading, hand finishing and construction.They’ve worked on shows for both film and Broadway, such as Wicked, Lion King and Gilded Age. Their passion for sewing comes from over 15 years of cosplay experience. You can find them on Instagram at Aissac.Cos and Aobittybaby.

The Nitty Gritty:

To participate in this class you must be at least 16 years of age
Anyone under 16 years of age MUST be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian and a liability waiver must be signed
Space is limited and all tickets are first come first serve
