AMKE CLASS // Making Your Cosplay Actually Fit

In this free lecture, sewing experts from Sew Much More Waukesha will discuss common fit issues with off-the-rack costumes and how to tweak and adjust them to ensure a perfect fit every time. Sew Much More will demonstrate adjustment techniques, answer common questions, and show off products and tools that will help conquer cosplay for newbies and experts alike.

In this workshop you'll learn:

• The basics of adjusting a finished garment, including taking in and letting out
• How to hem properly
  
• What tools are needed to make sewing adjustments
• How to take apart seams and sew them back together
• What seam allowance is and how to work with it

Prerequisite Skills:

• None, beginner friendly
