Learn how to make a quick and easy animal tail for cosplay, ren faire outfits, and more in this hands on workshop taught by Aissac.Cos and Aobittybaby. Using a mixture of hand sewing techniques, crafting, and rigging, students will be able to make their own tail to take home that can be customized to be for a unicorn, lion, mouse, and more.

In this workshop you'll learn:

Structural and rigging techniques using wire
How to brush out yarn to make it smoother
Simple stitching on a sewing machine
How to utilize common materials in unconventional ways to make cosplay

Prerequisite Skills:

None, beginner friendly

About the Instructor:

Ai and Blue are professional stitchers from NY that specialize in pattern making, beading, hand finishing and construction.They’ve worked on shows for both film and Broadway, such as Wicked, Lion King and Gilded Age. Their passion for sewing comes from over 15 years of cosplay experience. You can find them on Instagram at Aissac.Cos and Aobittybaby.

The Nitty Gritty:

To participate in this class you must be at least 16 years of age
Anyone under 16 years of age MUST be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian and a liability waiver must be signed
Space is limited and all tickets are first come first serve
Purchasing a ticket reserves one (1) seat at this class. For multiple tickets, please add more than one ticket to your cart
